PBM Booms can be plumbed for many applications. Below are some examples of broadcast and "strip" style plumbing schemes. We offer many other options and can plumb your boom to meet your specific needs.
A typical broadcast boom comes with Quick TeeJet 110 degree nozzles, rated at .02 gpm @ 40 psi set at 20" spacings. Nozzles plumbed for strip are Off-center .02 gpm.
Single Section Broadcast - All nozzles are plumbed to a single boom control valve. ![]() |

Three Section "Strip/Broadcast" Plumbing - Typically one off-center and one 110 degree nozzle are housed in double swivel nozzle bodies on each end of the boom . Two valves create left and right strip patterns. All remaining nozzles are plumbed to a single boom valve. ![]() |
